FRANK BEY
Frank Bey was born and raised in Millen, GA. At 17 he joined the Otis Redding Revue. In the early ‘70s, he formed the funk group Moorish Vanguard. After a record deal gone wrong with James Brown, Frank quit singing for 17 years. Unable to walk away from his dream, he recorded “Back In Business”, followed by “All My Dues Are Paid”. Frank died on June 7, 2020 from kidney failure at 74 years old.
CASH McCALL
The world lost a treasure with the passing of Cash McCall in 2019 at the age of 78. Most musicians are lucky to achieve a measure of stardom and artistic fulfillment in one genre. Cash McCall managed the elusive feat in no less than three! His enthusiasm for the music he loved never waned even until the end.
